A video and a sculptural mound beneath it are presented to be read in relation to each other, contrasting cyclical continuity and stasis through symbolic materials. The title of the piece borrows from the final volume of Marcel Proust's novel In Search of Lost Time, in which he presents his detailed thoughts on time and memory. His reflections are based on a twofold experience of time: as a frozen moment condensed into a concept, later remembered, and as an ongoing experience where present moments accumulate.
